How do I create a Bill?

There are 8 ways to create a bill in Chamberslegal:

1) From the landing page

  • Click on the “+” icon in the top left corner of the application
  • Click on new billing entry
  • Enter the information required ( The fields marked with * are mandatory)
  • Click on either Save & exit button to save a billing or Save & New button to add multiple billings.

2) From the Billing page:

  • Click on add billing
  • Enter the information required ( The fields marked with * are mandatory)
  • Click on either Save & exit button to save a billing or Save & New button to add multiple billings.

3) From Task page:

  • Navigate and click on “Task” on the application
  • Click on “Add Task”
  • Enter the information required (The fields marked with * are mandatory)
  • Click on either Save & exit button to save a task or Save & New button to add multiple tasks.
  • Click on the checkbox to select a task to bill
  • Navigate to the menu drop down at the top right of the page
  • Select “Convert to billing” on the drop down.

4) From Event page:

  • Navigate and click on “Task” on the application
  • Click on “Events” button on the task page
  • Click on “Add Events”
  • Enter the information required (The fields marked with * are mandatory)
  • Click on either Save & exit button to save an event or Save & New button to add multiple events.
  • Click on the checkbox to select an event to bill
  • Navigate to the menu drop down at the top right of the page
  • Select “Convert to billing” on the drop down.

5) From Email page:

  • Navigate to “Compose Email” on the landing page and click on it.
  • Click on “Bill for this mail” button
  • Enter the information required ( The fields marked with * are mandatory)
  • Click on either Save & exit button to save a billing or Save & New button to add multiple billings.

6) From Document page:

  • Navigate to document page and click on it
  • Select a document
  • Navigate to the “bill icon” on the menu bar
  • Enter the information required ( The fields marked with * are mandatory)
  • Click on either Save & exit button to save a billing or Save & New button to add multiple billings.

7) From Communication page:

  •  Navigate and click on “Communication” on the application
  •  Click on “Add Communication”
  • Enter the information required (The fields marked with * are mandatory)
  • Click on either Save & exit button to save a communication or Save & New button to add multiple communications.
  • Check the check box to select a communication
  • Navigate to the “bill icon” on the menu bar
  • Enter the information required ( The fields marked with * are mandatory)
  •  Click on either Save & exit button to save a billing or Save & New button to add multiple billings.

8) From Notes page:

  • Navigate and click on “Notes” on the application
  • Click on “Add”
  • Enter the information required (The fields marked with * are mandatory)
  • Click on either Save & exit button to save a note or Save & New button to add multiple notes.
  • Check the check box to select a note
  • Navigate and click on “convert to billing” on the menu bar
  • Enter the information required ( The fields marked with * are mandatory)
  • Click on either Save & exit button to save a billing or Save & New button to add multiple billings.

9) From Timer:

  •  Navigate to the timer section on Chamberslegal
  • Click on the Play icon which starts the timer
  • Click on the Stop icon to stop the timer (Add billing form pops up)
  • Enter the information required ( The fields marked with * are mandatory)
  • Click on Save & exit button to save.
